###Service Plus Aquatics Inc. (SPA) is a privately owned company proudly serving Ontario for over 36 years. Established in 1989, we are a rapidly growing leader in commercial swimming pool design/build, restoration, waterproofing, and facility management.
We are a busy, expanding company with a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility that we own near Appleby & 407 in Burlington. Our team is known for technical excellence, innovation, and a collaborative culture where learning never stops.
We are looking for a Architectural Designer to join our Design Department. If you have professional Revit expertise and are passionate about creating functional, beautiful aquatic spaces, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in a specialized and rewarding field.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the Contract Manager and Design Team on project coordination and hands-on drafting
- Produce AutoCAD and Revit drawings — both basic and detailed — for commercial pools and water features
- Create renderings and video visualizations for client presentations
- Assist with fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and site instructions (SI’s)
- Participate in design meetings, site visits, and measurements
- Maintain organized design files and documentation
- Support the development of OBC design checklists, written specifications, and as-built drawings
- Contribute to an efficient and supportive design office environment
What You Bring
-Must have proven professional Revit knowledge and hands-on experience (required)
- AutoCAD hands-on experience (required)
- 3+ years of drafting experience (preferably architectural or mechanical)
- Experience with water features, pools, or specialized construction is a strong assetrovin
- Knowledge of rendering and video rendering software is an asset
- Proficient in MS Office; MS Project experience is a plus
- Architectural Technology Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Position Details
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- 40–44 hours per week, in-office role
- Overtime must be pre-approved by the Design Department Supervisor
- Group benefits after 3 months
