The Transportation Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for store support, coordinating transportation activities, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring efficient, on-time service through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Here’s Where You’ll Have An Impact
Collaborate with operations, dispatch and load planning teams to ensure loads are scheduled and prepared for on-time shipment Respond to and ensure customer issues and discrepancies related to deliveries are handled in a professional and timely manner Field phone calls from stores, investigate issues using site’s systems and resources and provide feedback to stores Contact customers when RSC or transport issues arise Support re-delivery efforts liaising with Store Ops representatives and East Customer Service while considering cost Review store feedback reporting, align on results and develop summary reporting for on-site management Serve as the first point of contact for stores and triage concerns to the correct departments to support Maintain a clean and safe work environment Participate in KPI and Process improvement forums and discussions Drive innovation and change management with a focus on store execution, cost control and safety Compliance with all Company food safety standards, guidelines and procedures
What You Bring To The Table
Interpersonal Skills Job Knowledge Decision Making/Problem Solving Patience and experience dealing with difficult people
Required
Educational and Working Experience:
Minimum one year experience in customer service Experience working in a fast paced environment with competing priorities
Preferred
Bachelors Degree/Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or combination of education and related experience
Technical Skills Required
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite Good communication skills (both oral and written) Mastery of the English language Demonstrated successful ability working with cross-functional teams Planning and organizing skills Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Excellent judgement and decision making skills
Working Conditions
RSC environment Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Possible exposure to extreme temperatures Various shifts
