Job Overview:
The Resident Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of janitorial services at the designated site, ensuring compliance with contract obligations and delivering high-quality services to meet client expectations. The role involves managing communication between the company and the client, leading the cleaning staff, maintaining health and safety standards, and managing resources to ensure smooth operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be knowledgeable in floor scrubbing and burnishing of floors
-
Clean assigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waxing floor surfaces in assigned areas by use of mechanized cleaning equipment wherever required
-
Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
-
Operate carpet machines of various types
-
Handling weekly timesheets and placing supply orders on a monthly basis
-
Spot clean walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, doors, and window sills
-
Wipe and sanitize all public utilities such as public phones, furniture, and door handles
-
Food Court experience a plus

Cleaning of washrooms, sanitizing, mopping, restocking of supplies as needed
-
Follow pre-set policies, guidelines, and rules to maintain a safe working environment
-
Supervise, coordinate, and plan the work of employees
-
Conduct monthly inspections of the facilities (including monitoring inventory and supplies)
-
Ensure the proper maintenance of all cleaning equipment
-
Other duties and responsibilities as required
Required Skills/Abilities:
-
Proven experience in managing cleaning services in a commercial or institutional setting.
-
Strong leadership and team management skills.
-
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
-
Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and procedures.
-
Ability to conduct thorough inspections and report on performance.
-
Experience in inventory and budget management.
-
Proficiency in using relevant software for tracking and managing services.
-
Experience in budgeting, work loading, and cost controls.
-
Commitment to maintaining best in class service.
