About the role
Gemini is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Specialist to join the team at our location in Neustadt, ON! This position is responsible for learning and demonstrating proficiency and flexibility in all positions within the plant to respond to and support any position based on business need. This position supports other internal departments and those of the flat cut out, plastics and pronto shops . Wage Range: CAD $19.54 - $25.76 per Hour
Location: Neustadt, ON
Type: Full Time – On-site
Schedule: 5/8 hour days 7 :00 AM to 3:30 PM] ( Monday through Friday)
- Overtime is scheduled as needed.
A day in the life of a Manufacturing Specialist at Gemini includes:

Letter Finisher
-
Ensure products are clean and free from scratches and foreign materials.
-
Properly finish and assemble as instructed by the work order.
-
Assure each order is complete by counting and matching contents with the work order.

Painter
-
Mix appropriate quantity of paint per work order, ensure that the paint is properly mixed as indicated by local conditions and matching paint chips or samples if required by the job.

Spray products as required, ensuring that paint is applied in a manner consistent with customer requirements and company quality standards.

Shipper
-
Inspect finished products for function, aesthetics, and quality, if required, and may clean products as necessary.
-
Maintain familiarity with shipping procedures, bill of lading etc. and prepare products for UPS/truck pick-up required.

FCO operator
-
Operate lasers or routers to produce product as instructed per the work order
-
Laminator
-
Uses appropriate equipment to laminate either foils or metal to a substrate as instructed by the work order
-
Lean/Continuous Improvement
-
Will participate in Lean/Continuous Improvement efforts in the plant
Skills And Abilities
- Manufacturing Experience
- Automotive Paint Experience
Education And Experience
- High School Diploma /GED or equivalent demonstrated competency through work experience
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a production environment
