Role Description The Handyman role at AnyWorky is a full-time remote position that involves providing a variety of home maintenance, furniture assembly, and repair services for residential customers across Canada. Day-to-day tasks may include basic repairs, minor plumbing or electrical work (within certification and safety guidelines), furniture assembly, painting, drywall patching, appliance installation, and general home upkeep. Handy people will review job requests through the AnyWorky platform, communicate with customers to clarify needs, estimate time and materials, and complete work to a high standard of safety and quality. The role also involves documenting completed tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing professional, courteous customer service. While the role is remote in terms of scheduling and coordination via the platform, travel to customer locations is required to perform on-site work.

Qualifications Hands-on skills in general home maintenance, furniture assembly, and repair, such as basic carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, and minor electrical work (as permitted by local regulations). Ability to safely use common tools and equipment, follow safety procedures, and comply with relevant building and electrical codes. Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and the ability to manage expectations on-site. Reliable time management skills, with the ability to schedule, prioritize, and complete multiple jobs independently. Comfort with using mobile apps and digital platforms for job intake, navigation, messaging, and documentation. Valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation, and ability to travel to customer locations within assigned areas. Ownership of basic tools and equipment required for common handyman tasks; willingness to maintain tools in good working condition. Previous experience in home services, maintenance, construction, or a related trade is strongly preferred. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment as typically required for home repair work. Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to complete any required background or reference checks.
