What can you expect from this position?
The Student, Data and Technology reports directly to the Manager of Capacity Allocation and will provide analysis and insight on current capacity planning processes for Airports Operations at the GTAA. You will provide value in enabling corporate strategies to improving current practices of capacity planning of airport resources and supporting initiatives designed to make the GTAA a better and more efficient data driven operation and business.
As Student, Data and Technology, you will:
- Review with the other analysts in the group the internal processes of analyzing data from multiple internal and external sources and provide structured suggestions and fact-based insights on how to improve analytic reports to both internal and external parties.
- Review current planning practices and identify planning deficiencies with airport flow and capacity specifically problems/bottlenecks pertaining to different airport systems currently measured.
- Provide recommendation of analytical and storytelling improvements to current practices and strategies to improve and advance capacity planning methodology and airport operations performance.
- Review and recommend improvements to current statistical analysis models, forecasting techniques and business intelligence tools to uncover and initiate improvements in operations and asset utilization.
- Develop new dashboards with appropriate levels of detail focused on the audience to support key airport operation decisions.
This is the role for you, if you have:
- Enrolled in Masters or Doctorate Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Operations.
- The ability to take initiative and effectively collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
