Position Summary
The Summer Student, Marketing and Communications will report into the Manager, Marketing and is responsible for providing reliable, timely, and efficient support in delivery of assigned property marketing and corporate marketing initiatives. This role will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of engaging campaigns, showcase creativity, and support exciting projects for Crown.
Responsibilities
- Learn what goes into being a Crown brand ambassador and support the alignment of corporate objectives with local priorities.
- Help build and maintain a library of reusable marketing templates that reflect Crown’s brand voice and visual style.
- Help track progress and evaluate analytics of all marketing campaigns.
- Update promotional materials as necessary.
- Review on-site decals and signage for leasing and property teams, and support collaboration with the graphic designer on custom materials when needed.
- Collaborate across Crown’s internal teams (and with external stakeholders, tenants, partners, community organizations, etc.)
- Work with manager on correspondences with third party consultants and vendors including graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and web developers.
- Support and pitch content ideas for social media platforms.
- Create and maintain corporate templates.
- Support internal communications and marketing initiatives.
- Provide periodic administrative support to other Crown team members as required.
##Perform other related responsibilities as requested from time to time.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Diploma/certificate in marketing, communications, or similar
- College or university degree in progress
- Experience in a prior customer-facing role is an asset; preferably in a related field such as event management, co-working or community services.
- Access to a vehicle with valid driver's license an asset
