About the Opportunity

Reporting to the VP, Growth Operations, the Growth & Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in supporting Kambo’s business development, client operations, and proposal management functions. This role sits at the intersection of account management, operational coordination, and growth strategy, ensuring that client relationships, proposals, and internal processes are managed with excellence and consistency.

As a central operational lead, this role manages the full lifecycle of proposals and RFPs across Kambo divisions, from opportunity tracking and go/no-go decisions through submission coordination and execution support. The role also supports key client relationships through communication management, reporting coordination, troubleshooting, and operational oversight.

You are highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented. You enjoy creating clarity across multiple moving priorities and have a strong ability to coordinate people, timelines, and deliverables without losing sight of the bigger picture. You are equally comfortable managing client relationships, leading proposal processes, and improving internal operational systems.

You are a strong communicator who can work cross-functionally with leadership, operations, finance, and program teams while maintaining professionalism and responsiveness with clients and partners. You bring sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.

Above all, you care deeply about operational excellence, relationship management, and supporting meaningful outcomes for communities and partners.

Proposal & RFP Management

  • Manage and maintain the organization-wide RFP and proposal pipeline.

  • Lead end-to-end proposal coordination including timelines, meetings, agendas, stakeholder communication, and submission management.

  • Support proposal scoping, writing, editing, and quality assurance processes.

  • Coordinate cross-functional contributions to proposals and funding applications.

Operations & Process Coordination

  • Manage calendaring, scheduling, and communication workflows across multiple stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate CRM, reporting, and internal tracking systems to ensure strong data hygiene and visibility.

  • Improve operational systems, templates, and proposal workflows to increase efficiency and accountability.

  • Support smooth internal coordination between growth, program, finance, and leadership teams.

  • Track deadlines, deliverables, and reporting requirements across concurrent projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience in growth operations, account management, business operations, proposal management, or related roles.

  • Experience supporting client operations, account coordination, or customer success functions in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong ability to manage complex scheduling, communications, and stakeholder coordination across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Demonstrated experience building and improving operational processes, workflows, and tracking systems to increase efficiency and accountability.

  • Experience working with CRM platforms, project management tools, reporting systems, and data hygiene best practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot client or operational issues proactively and collaboratively.

  • Ability to balance relationship management with operational execution while maintaining
    a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and keeping projects, timelines, and deliverables on track.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Comfortable working in highly collaborative, evolving environments with shifting priorities and deadlines.

  • Interest in climate, energy, social impact, or equity-centered work is considered an asset.

While Kambo is headquartered in Vancouver, this role is open to candidates across Canada and the U.S. Preference will be given to applicants who can work core hours aligned with PST or MST.
