North American Rail Products- Yard Labourer
Location: Argyle, Manitoba

Overview:
Are you a hands-on team player who thrives in a fast-paced, outdoor environment? We’re looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Industrial Yard Labourer to join our North American Rail Products operations team. This role supports daily yard activities, equipment movement, and material handling to keep the job running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Load and unload construction materials and supplies from trucks, trailers, or containers.
- Sort, organize, and store equipment and tools in designated areas.
- Clean and maintain the yard, including sweeping, snow shoveling, and debris removal.
- Assist operators and mechanics in equipment prep and minor servicing.
- Operate basic machinery (e.g., skid steer, forklift) and follow proper safety procedures.
- Conduct daily inspections and report unsafe conditions or damaged materials.
- Collaborate with drivers and delivery crews to coordinate shipments and receiving.
- Palletizing and preparing orders for shipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a construction yard, warehouse, or similar industrial setting preferred.
- Able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic tool and equipment knowledge; forklift certification is a strong asset.
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
- Strong attention to safety, time management, and communication.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment Medical/Fitness testing and Drug and Alcohol Testing
Work Conditions:
- Outdoor/Indoor, physically demanding environment
- Workin in all weather conditions
- Shift work may be required depending on operations.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be always worn.
