The Opportunity We are hiring a Director of Marketing to lead the next stage of our growth. In 2026, a CPG brand has to operate like a media company — great product is the price of entry, and what separates brands that scale from brands that stall is story, distribution, and a team that treats every channel as one connected system. This is a builder’s seat, not a figurehead one. You will own full-funnel, omni-channel growth end to end — brand and performance, content and conversion, local activation and digital amplification. You will lead a talented team and have a full AI toolkit at your disposal. This role carries a clear, accelerated path to Chief Marketing Officer for the right person.
What You’ll Own
- Full-funnel, omni-channel growth across Meta, TikTok, TikTok Shop, Instagram, Instacart, Amazon, and Google Ads.
- Budget strategy you can set, manage, scale, and cut with confidence — always tied to outcomes. - Measurement and unit economics: a MER framework across all sales channels and LTV:CAC economics that scale profitably. You have built these dashboards before.
- Organic and discovery: classic SEO plus the emerging frontier of AI search optimization.
- Brand and creative: storytelling and content that make people feel something and move them to act.
- Team leadership: mentor and get the best from a Marketing Manager, Marketing Coordinator, Ad Buyer, Video Editor, and Graphic Designer.
Your First Mission (First 90 Days)
- Develop a deep, first-principles understanding of our customer cohort — who they are, what they want, and their full journey.
- Lead a brand facelift informed by that understanding.
- Audit and rebuild our measurement stack so every channel is visible and every dollar is accountable. - Identify the highest-leverage growth levers and put a 12-month plan behind them.
Who You Are You are equal parts creative genius and sharp operator — both sides of your brain fire. You are obsessed with the customer and with getting better. You find efficiencies, delegate well, prioritize ruthlessly, and stay in the trenches with your team. You’ll thrive here if you have:
- ~10+ years in marketing, ideally with a scale-to-sale journey behind you (founder, CMO, or Marketing Director experience is a strong signal).
- Deep, hands-on command of the major ad platforms and of Instagram, TikTok, and TikTok Shop. - Real time spent close to the customer — customer service, community, or support experience that shaped how you market.
- A track record of building measurement systems and driving LTV:CAC that scales.
- Fluency with AI as a daily multiplier across creative, analysis, and operations.
- Alignment with the brand: you live health and wellness without restriction — experiences, longevity, and feeling your best are core to who you are.
The Commitment and Compensation Location: Hybrid — Vancouver, Toronto, New York, Austin, or Los Angeles Compensation: CAD $120,000–$180,000 (base + performance bonus) + stock options + health benefits Reports to: Founder / CEO Type: Full-time, senior leadership
