Position: Intermediate Business Analyst
Client: Financial Sector
Location: Hybrid – Toronto (2 to 4 days in office)
Duration: 6 months
Language: English
Background: Our financial sector clients require the services of Intermediate Business Analysts to support efforts to digitize and increase operational efficiency of sales and services processes while reducing cost and improving customer experience.
Requirements:
-
5-10 years of BA experience, defining and identifying requirements, creating wireframes, use cases and other documentation (in word, PDF, XML, Excel)
-
Financial Services experience, multiple Canadian bank/insurance preferred
-
Experience working within the team including designers and developers
-
Experience aligning stakeholder objectives and building consensus
-
Experience with large organization(s), including working across legal, compliance, privacy, fraud etc and establishing and maintaining standards.

Familiar with both agile/waterfall metholodgies, ability to work on multiple projects.
-
Gather and document requirements/artefacts leveraging excel,JIRA,etc.
-
Ability to read/understand basic XML, JavaScript
-
Familiar with regulatory requirements (Bill C-86 & C-96,etc.)
-
Any experience working on Quadient,OneSpan platform,e-signature,etc.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

Conduct weekly Project Schedule Review & Integration with required Teams/Deliverables
-
Proactively identify gaps vs business needs
-
Gather and document requirements and user stories;
-
Schedule, minute, document, and follow-up on action items from the required solution & release review workshops
-
Assess user needs via stakeholder interviews and broader engagement
-
Advise and facilitate definition of project deliverables and data fields, requirements, use case mapping and future state mockups(wireframes)
-
Collaborate with stakeholders across seniority levels and teams to understand status, map out a future state, and drive consensus
-
Play a key role in supporting requirement scoping, product configuration and implementation, process design, data migration, testing, roll-out and adoption of the platform
-
Lead the process of gathering feedback from UAT to deliver user-centered and innovative solutions and designs.
This is an independent consultant position for contract work with a Kyndryl client and is not a direct staff position with Kyndryl
