Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Macroeconomic Modeling Specialist (EViews) to work on a contract basis. The role involves building and refining macroeconomic models using EViews software to analyze economic trends and forecast key indicators. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret model outputs and inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, validate, and maintain macroeconomic forecasting models in EViews.
• Analyze economic datasets to identify trends, patterns, and structural relationships.
• Produce quarterly and annual economic outlooks, including scenario and stress-test analyses.
• Present model findings and insights to stakeholders in clear, actionable formats.
• Refine model parameters based on feedback and evolving economic conditions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in EViews for time-series econometric modeling and forecasting.
• Strong background in macroeconomics, econometrics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience with macroeconomic data sources such as IMF, World Bank, or national statistical agencies.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex economic data to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with statistical software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
