Reporting to the Director, Data and Digital Health Innovation, the Clinical Systems Educator is considered the subject matter expert and is responsible for delivering training on applications that support clinical care delivery.
As a Clinical Systems Educator, you will play a key role in shaping how clinicians deliver care through innovative digital tools, while growing your own career in a supportive and forward thinking environment.
This role combines clinical expertise, education, and project coordination to support the successful adoption and use of digital health solutions across Integrated Care Solutions.
What You Will Do
Deliver training for new and existing staff on clinical documentation systems, interRAI assessment tools, and other applications such as Alayacare, Procura, Yardi and PCC Develop and maintain training materials including user guides and educator resources Partner with clinical operations and digital health teams to ensure training reflects current workflows and practices Organize and communicate training schedules Continuously enhance training approaches based on feedback and system updates Troubleshoot application and device issues and provide guidance to users Assist with system configuration and updates as needed Learn new applications and support rollout and training initiatives Act as a key resource for clinical staff using digital tools Support project coordination activities for digital health initiatives Assist with planning meetings, creating materials, scheduling, and documenting discussions Maintain project documentation including plans, reports, and communication materials Track deliverables and follow up with stakeholders to support timelines Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and communication Support change management and sustainability planning Gather and analyze feedback to improve training and system use Support data collection, reporting, and workflow audits Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information
What You Bring
Education and Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field Current registration as an RN or RPN in good standing Adult education certification or willingness to complete within two years is preferred Health informatics certification or willingness to complete within two years is preferred
Experience
Clinical experience in home care or acute care settings Experience training, mentoring, or supporting staff Exposure to change initiatives and project work Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and digital tools is an asset
Skills And Strengths
Strong communication and presentation skills Comfortable with technology including computers, mobile devices, and cloud based systems Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Collaborative and adaptable with a passion for improving care through innovation
