Job Summary
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions. Ensure high-quality imaging while providing safe and compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct ultrasound procedures and obtain diagnostic images. Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment. Analyze images for quality and completeness. Document findings and maintain accurate patient records. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams. Follow safety, infection control, and professional practice standards.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Registration with Sonography Canada and/or relevant provincial regulatory requirements. Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
