Ready to be part of the action? Reporting to the Manager, EPS, the Administrator, EPS will be responsible for providing general administrative support to the EPS team during the tax season. The incumbent will be responsible for basic administrative tasks including extracting and balancing tax forms, ensuring forms are loaded in the mainframe system, and will also assist in performing monthly reconciliation and tax remittances, as required.

This role is hybrid (3 days/week in the office) - based in Toronto, ON. Key Accountabilities
- Generate Canadian and US tax slips from mainframe system (ESPP / SOARS).
- Generate annual reports from the mainframe system.
- Responsible for analyzing and reconciling tax slip extracts vs system balance on annual reports vs tax remittances to CRA/IRS using excel pivot tables and vlookup.
- Post reconciliation, coordinate with IT on uploading tax extract to mainframe system (Link4).
- Post upload, verify error reports (Solimar reports) and escalate any issues to the Supervisor, EPS Operations. Perform any data correction, as required.
- Coordinating printing of tax slips with vendor. Prior to printing, perform sample audit of tax slips.
- Participate in tax planning meetings.
- Co-ordinate the production of manual tax forms.
- Provide management reporting, as required.
- Process routine and non-routine (high risk) account maintenance, including demographic updates, blackout restrictions, vest schedule changes, participant groupings, etc.
- Perform research to resolve queries, take instructions for material requests and replacement of missing cheques.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Must Have (s):
- A minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong proficiency with Google Suite, MS Office Suite and other desktop applications. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookup and pivot table), required
- Willingness and ability to adapt to changes and responsibilities
- Must have a flexible schedule to work overtime as required
- Ability to multi-task and meet quick turnaround times
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to analyze, problem solve and work independently
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and effectively communicate with peers and all levels of the company
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
