About the role

A career in Sales and Marketing will give you the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long-term revenue growth for the Firm. You will focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell PwC’s brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace. We are currently looking for a manager to join our Account Management team within the Sales Enablement group in the Private industry. In this role, you will get the chance to work in close collaboration with our go-to-market teams to support leaders to grow the portfolio in Private through their key strategy and Priority Accounts program. The Account Manager will act as an external relationship manager at the operational level, for some of PwC’s key accounts, as well as acting as an internal sales advisor to ensure all sales and relationship management (SRM) activities are organized and completed in a timely and efficient manner. This is not a commission-based role. The role will be to support the firm’s Private industry leadership team and Priority Accounts. As a manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Private Account Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support Lead Partners and account teams to develop and execute account growth strategy
  • Embed account management disciplines and drive adoption across assigned clients
  • Manage the account planning process, including client needs assessment and opportunity identification
  • Organize and manage ongoing business development meetings and opportunity pipeline reporting
  • Assist in pursuit efforts to achieve Private’s annual sales targets and support proposal responses
  • Strengthen client relationships by developing and maintaining relationship maps
  • Drive connectivity and collaboration among internal stakeholders throughout pursuit and targeting cycles
  • Champion the firm’s business development methodology and Global Account Management Framework
  • Leverage marketing campaigns and thought leadership for targeted market outreach
  • Attend relevant industry and PwC events to network and build client relationships

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • B2B client relationship management experience in corporate or professional services, with knowledge of consulting and deals
  • Track record of providing effective sales support to key accounts, including account planning and value proposition development
  • Experience implementing sales best practices and formal B2B solution selling methodologies
  • Ability to confidently build and maintain strong relationships at various organizational levels
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and analytical reporting skills
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities with attention to detail
  • Experience in cloud-based technology platforms, including the Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in a team environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Canadian Private Companies’ structure, buying behaviors, and ways of experience, including Family-Owned business
  • Previous experience developing and managing proposals in competitive processes
  • When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French is required. Outside of Quebec, fluency in French is an asset
