Job Description Summary

STEMCELL is growing! We are looking for a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Systems Specialist to join us. In this role, you will design and deliver innovative planning, reporting, and analytics solutions that power financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and business performance insights. Leveraging your deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and the broader FP&A technology ecosystem—including SAP, Snowflake, Sigma, and Tableau— you will assist in building scalable, user-friendly solutions that enable smarter, data-driven decision-making.

As a senior individual contributor, this role partners closely with Finance and FP&A leaders to translate complex business needs into impactful solutions, optimizes planning and reporting processes, strengthens data governance, resolves technical challenges, and drives continuous improvement across FP&A systems and analytics.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities Influence the end-to-end FP&A planning and reporting processes, including budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, variance analysis, management reporting, KPI reporting, business performance management, and month-end reporting. Partner with Finance stakeholders to scope and translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions while supporting financial data connections, data integrity, usability, and troubleshooting across the FP&A analytics and reporting ecosystem, including SAC, SAP, Snowflake, Sigma, Tableau, and related tools Design, build, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and reporting solutions, including planning models, optimized stories and dashboards, input/writeback layouts, planning views, user-facing interfaces, advanced formulas, scripting, data actions, allocations, calculations, planning logic, forecasting workflows, dashboard interactivity, automation capabilities, and complex financial reports Lead the technical execution of sequenced SAC reporting and planning enhancements aligned with the FP&A calendar and business priorities, while maintaining documentation, reporting standards, governance practices, and technical recommendations that improve scalability, usability, reporting quality, and planning process efficiency Develop user guides and training materials for SAC planning, reporting, and related ecosystem solutions. Provide expert training and train-the-trainer support to FP&A power users and other Finance stakeholders to improve adoption, self-service capability, and consistent use of FP&A systems Knowledge and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field, alongside 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate financial systems, FP&A analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar finance role, including 3+ years of advanced hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and reporting. SAP Certified Application Associate/Professional – SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning or Business Intelligence) certification is preferred Advanced hands-on knowledge of SAC Planning and reporting capabilities, including Optimized Story Experience, Optimized Design Experience, advanced formulas, scripting, data actions, calculations, allocations, multi-actions, predictive planning, automation, dashboard interactivity, and user-facing SAC interfaces Strong understanding of FP&A processes, financial data flows, planning data dependencies, reporting hierarchies, data validation, reconciliation, SAC connections, and broader data/business intelligence tools. Proven ability to scope, challenge, and translate complex Finance and FP&A requirements into scalable SAC planning, reporting, dashboard, analytics, and user-interface solutions Strong financial acumen, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, documentation discipline, testing capability, troubleshooting skills, and technical communication #LI-KL1 #LI-Onsite #United #Nonbench

The annual salary for this job ranges from

$101,300.00 - $151,900.00 STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
