Come join our growing team!   For more information about ROSEN go to www.rosen-group.com.   ROSEN is looking for a Senior Integrity Application Specialist that will be based in Calgary, AB.  This position reports directly to the Head of Engineering and will be a part of the System Implementation team.     The Senior Integrity Application Specialist is responsible for configuring, implementing, testing, and supporting NIMA IM process templates and workflows that enable client Integrity Management Programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, business processes, and industry best practices.   The Senior Integrity Application Specialist shall provide the ability to interact with staff in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.What will I be doing?

  • Support requirements gathering, design, implementation, development, testing and validation of client process templates and workflows in NIMA - ROSEN’s Pipeline Integrity Management System (PIMS) and GIS framework - including though the use of Python;- Support integration of NIMA processes with the ESRI platform: ArcGIS Enterprise, Geodatabases (SDE), Portal, Web maps, Operations Dashboard, Collector or related tools;- Perform quality gate checks and code review for solutions performed by junior team members;- Support execution of assessment workflows in NIMA, in accordance to applicable regulatory requirements and client Integrity Management Plans as applicable;- Support the integration, modification and maintenance of client data into NIMA, including ILI and related data such as pipeline data, survey data, repairs, etc.;- Access and work with pipeline and integrity data in both relational and geospatial databases in Microsoft SQL Server or via REST APIs;- Support internal and external clients to solve NIMA user and data issues;- Participate in various project phases, offering support to senior staff in project tasks from acquisition to execution, using knowledge of pipeline integrity best practices to ensure product deliverables meet client and industry expectations;- Able to interpret and dissect Integrity Management Plans in context of existing onshore pipeline regulations (both Canada and US) and ROSEN standards, identifying gaps between the IMP and the capabilities of ROSEN’s process templates;- Supports ROSEN Worldwide in product development and other regions on critical projects.What are we looking for? The successful candidate should have the minimum qualifications and/or skills:- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, MIS, engineering or a relevant related field; other majors can be qualified based on a combination of education AND experience;- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Pipeline Integrity and/or GIS Developer (or similar) role(s);Additional Qualifications or Skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Pipeline Integrity and/or GIS Developer (or similar) role(s);- Experience with Python and development best practices;- Experience with PODS, UPDM, and/or other pipeline data models;- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS platform as described above;- Proven project management skills: must be able to prioritize multiple projects for different internal and external customers simultaneously, exceptional planning and scheduling abilities, and good communications skills to facilitate successful definition, planning, and execution of PIMS-related projects (e.g. software upgrades, data migrations and database design);- Individual must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal direct supervision;- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, analytical skills, and the ability to analyze a problem from various perspectives and make sound recommendations are required;- High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word);- Experience with CSA Z662, 49 CFR 195 and 192, and related industry standards (API, ASME, NACE, PRCI, etc.);- Strong reporting skills (ability to author reports, templates, technical specifications, software user manuals, etc.);- Valid passport and able to travel internationally (up to 15% of the year);- Must have valid work authorization in Canada. Experience in the following specialized areas is preferred:- Experience with python modules: pandas, numpy, polars, arcpy, arcgis, osgeo/gdal- Experience with other Pipeline Integrity Management Systems (PIMS);- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing (Location Referencing) extension, Utility Network;- Experience with FME Form / Flow- Other programming skills aside from Python (e.g. R, VBA);- Experience with RDBMS (e.g. MS SQL Server);- Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).Our Offer ROSEN offers a competitive compensation package, including:
