About the role

As an In-Store Advisor (ISA) you will be a member of our dedicated Whirlpool Program. You have a passion for customer service and thrive in being out in the field, building relationships with Trade Partner Retail Sales Associates (RSAs). You will accomplish this through effective selling, training, and merchandising of Whirlpool products.

  • Be a trusted expert that creates memorable & positive experiences in-store

  • Sell Whirlpool Appliances at select locations (Assisted Selling)

  • Deliver product knowledge training to Retail Sales Associates

  • Drive Whirlpool Central engagement with Retail Sales Associates

  • Influence flooring & consumer path to purchase

  • Share retail feedback and insights

  • Maintain floor models on selling floor by cleaning, ordering missing parts, promotions listed and correct POP placement

  • Execute coverage plan within assigned territory

  • Conduct floor audits as required

  • Complete weekly competitor price audits

  • Maintain knowledge of Whirlpool’s products and services and stay up to date on the latest product and service developments

  • Post-secondary education, preferred

  • Being an appliance enthusiast with a passion for sales and training

  • Having a friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality

  • Experience with territory management & route planning

  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with others and be the “Trusted Expert” on Whirlpool’s Products and Services

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proven ability to multitask and stay organized

  • Able to learn new computer applications

  • 1 - 3 years of experience working with major appliances and/or retail selling

  • Ability to travel up to 40%, the position requires overnight travel

  • Possess a reliable automobile for driving

  • Possess a valid driver's license
