We’re seeking a Seasonal Human Resources Coordinator to join us this summer season (April-August) at Banff Hospitality Collective! Banff Hospitality Collective, or as we like to call it, ‘BHC’, is a multi-concept restaurant and entertainment company with 17 venues and counting. Human Resources Summer Student

Reporting to the Chief or People Operations, the Human Resources Coordinator will fill a term position within our People Operations team at our head office located in Banff's industrial area. In this role, you must be an organized and detail-oriented  person who is our teams go-to for anything HR administration related. You will perform a wide variety of HR related tasks such as systems administration, recruitment, and employee experience projects all while collaborating as part of the People Operations team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Systems administration and maintenance, including HRIS, Scheduler, and POS
  • Assist with developing and reporting key HR & people metrics
  • Support in company-wide recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and sending offers of employment
  • Assist as needed with various development and training programs
  • Oversee summer employee experience projects
  • Be a part of other HR functions as available

About you:

  • Currently a student or recent graduate of a registered Canadian University, completing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly complex and fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
  • Ability to organize and keep track of important documents
  • Ability to deliver information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong computer skills wit advanced skills in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
  • Experience in an administration role is an asset
  • Experience in the restaurant industry is an asset
