Senior Analyst Master Data
About the role
Who We Are Established in 1986, Ground Effects has grown into a multi-faceted supplier of interior and exterior accessory components for the automotive industry. We are headquartered in Windsor, Ontario. At Ground Effects, we've built a culture that values long-standing employees and excellence in everything we do. You'll be part of a great team that puts safety and quality first. The Role We're looking for a Senior Analyst, Master Data to own how Ground Effects' operations are represented across its systems — the steward who sets and enforces the guardrails where Engineering, Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Quality all meet. Each of these functions creates, consumes, and depends on shared master data, and their needs often pull in different directions. This role owns the standards, rules, and controls that reconcile them, so that one function's data never breaks another's. Rather than personally performing every data task, you'll govern the master data structures, configurations, and rules that live in Epicor, Dayforce, and the connected business-systems stack — translating how parts are made, costed, bought, sold, and staffed across our plant sites into a single, trusted source the whole organization can rely on. Above all, this is a stewardship role built on prevention. You'll design and maintain the controls that keep bad data out in the first place — validation rules, required fields, approval workflows, and process guardrails that catch problems at the point of entry, before they pollute reporting and transactions downstream. The best outcome of this role is the error that never happens. What You'll Do
- Own and govern master data structures, configurations, and business rules across Epicor (ERP), Dayforce (HCM/payroll), and the connected systems stack
- Design and enforce data-quality controls — validation rules, required fields, and approval workflows — that prevent errors at the point of entry
- Set and maintain the standards that reconcile competing needs across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Quality
- Translate how parts are made, costed, bought, sold, and staffed across plant sites into a single, trusted source of truth
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to protect data integrity through process change, system upgrades, and migrations
- Monitor, audit, and continuously improve the health of master data across the organization What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years in a master data, business systems analyst, ERP, or data governance role, including hands-on work mapping business processes to system structures
- Demonstrated experience designing or enforcing data-quality controls and validation (required)
- Direct experience with one or more of our core platforms strongly preferred: Epicor (ERP) and Dayforce (HCM/payroll)
- ERP implementation or data-migration experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing or multi-site environment strongly preferred Assets:
- Microsoft 365 and BI/FP&A tooling (Power BI, DataRails)
- Relevant certifications — business analysis (CBAP), data management (CDMP), or ERP/Epicor-Kinetic credentials
Ready to be the steward of Ground Effects data backbone? Apply today.
CAN base pay range per year: $70,000 - $90,000
