Industrial Millwright Journeyperson

The successful candidate will be able to support the installation of machinery

as required, including assembly, set-up, and machine operation to verify functioning, machine capability and conformance to customer’s specifications. In addition, assisting with assembly and programming of machines in the shop.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Proactively complete maintenance work which includes electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and general repair and maintenance of all equipment to maintain quality and production levels
• Troubleshoot equipment and miscellaneous downtime issues
• Perform preventative maintenance of equipment within manufacturers' specifications
• Read and interpret various textbooks, service manuals, and bulletins related to the performance of work

Qualifications

• Ability to perform and instruct in the operation, repair, rebuild and dismantle of all types of equipment and tools without supervision
• Experience working with bearings, belt driven systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, pumps, etc
• Stamping press repair, automation repair, maintenance of industrial equipment, preventative/predictive maintenance skills required
• Ability to operate any and all equipment required to complete job functions, including tool room equipment
• Must have extensive knowledge of air and hydraulic systems, air compressors and proportional valve repairs.
• Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to implement hands on corrective action
