The Digital Marketing Coordinator – Alberta reporting to the Marketing Administration Manager - Alberta, is based in Sherwood Park. This role manages the organization’s digital platforms and reporting. The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining corporate websites, publishing and scheduling social media content, coordinating digital assets within FC Link (Internal Portal), and monitoring online engagement metrics such as Google reviews. The Digital Marketing Coordinator also provides analytics and reporting to support marketing strategy, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with team priorities.

Essential Responsibilities:

Digital Platform Maintenance

  • Maintain and update corporate websites to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with brand standards.
  • Upload and maintain digital versions of marketing materials in FC Link and ensure system accuracy (media library).
  • Schedule and publish content across corporate social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, YouTube).

Collaboration & Vendor Coordination

  • Collaborate with communications and graphics teams to develop digital materials within brand guidelines.
  • Liaise with external vendors (e.g., video production, technical support) as required for digital projects.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on Google reviews and other online engagement data, including incentive program metrics.
  • Develop and distribute regular digital analytics reports (web traffic, social media performance, campaign tracking).
  • Monitor impact and ROIs of digital marketing campaigns.

Process Innovation & Improvements

  • Support digital process improvements by recommending tools, templates, and reporting enhancements.
  • Research emerging platforms and digital best practices, suggesting updates to improve efficiency and engagement.
  • Implement testing, adoption, and training of new digital systems to improve team workflows.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in digital media, marketing, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in digital marketing is required.
  • Solid knowledge of design and editing programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
  • Knowledge of web design and content management systems.
  • Advanced experience with web analytic tools such as Google Ads and Google Campaign Manager.
  • Familiarity with paid social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Knowledge of the latest media trends.
  • Basic budgeting skills to reconcile paid digital media placements with the available budget.
  • Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) is required.
  • Fluent in English with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is required.
  • Fluent in French with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is an asset.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, education verification and employment reference checks is required before employment.
