About the role

At PwC, our people in infrastructure focus on designing and implementing robust, secure IT systems that support business operations. They enable the smooth functioning of networks, servers, and data centres to optimize performance and minimize downtime. In infrastructure engineering at PwC, you will focus on designing and implementing robust and scalable technology infrastructure solutions for clients. Your work will involve network architecture, server management, and cloud computing experience.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Tech Lead Engineer, Senior Manager, Global, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Experience in progressive roles focused on managing and building information technology applications and its overall impact on business strategies and productivity
  • Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader
  • Evidencing experience in application integration that span multiple technology platforms, preferably for a global network of professional firms
  • Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and trends within application and integration architecture
  • Engaging in cloud application development in Azure, including both IaaS and PaaS configurations
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, Master Data Management (MDM), and Reference Data Management (RDM), and how they differ from operational systems design
  • Expertise in MDM, SQL Server, Cosmos, Mongo, .NET Core, Java (Azul), JBoss, Node.JS, Angular, Elastic Search, Camund
  • Enabling continuous integration/continuous deployment with Azure DevOps and Git
  • Integrating with enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Exhibiting technical understanding that spans multiple platforms and portfolio of applications with demonstrated knowledge of the business strategic priorities in order to resolve complex problems
  • Overseeing a geographically diverse team of developers including internal, contractor and supplier resources
  • Utilizing Data Integration Tools (ADF, API Management, Enterprise Service Bus, and Rules Engine)
  • Securing quality code delivery from teams through code reviews/pull requests
  • Experience with enterprise-class SaaS solutions
  • Cooperating with senior leadership and peers across the organization to impact the strategic direction of application development
  • Directing and facilitating formal and informal coaching and development activities for employees and coordinating contractors and managed service
  • Preferred fields of study are Computer Applications, Computer Programming Preferred Knowledge/Skills
