️ What You’ll Do
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting engineering change requests and managing Change Orders
Assisting with design and manufacturing improvements
Creating and maintaining production work instructions and test procedures
Reviewing technical drawings and documentation for manufacturability
Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues
Supporting prototype-to-production transitions (drawings, BOMs, tooling)
Contributing to safety improvements and LEAN initiatives
Delivering training materials to ensure team readiness
What You Bring
Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology (Design & Drafting knowledge preferred)
1–4 years of experience in a design or manufacturing environment
Proficiency in MS Office and 3D modelling software ( Autodesk Inventor preferred )
Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn
Bonus if you have:
Eligibility for ASET (C.E.T.) or APEGA (E.I.T.)
Experience with GD&T, technical writing, or project/configuration management
Familiarity with MS Project Online
Security & Safety Requirements
Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
Eligible for Canadian Class 2 Security Clearance including background check
Comfortable working in a safety-sensitive environment (production floor, testing, deployments)
Able to lift up to 23 lbs and occasionally travel off-site
