What to Expect in Your Day-to-Day
As a Personal Support Worker, your work will include:
- Engaging in meaningful conversation and building genuine relationships with clients
- Assisting clients with daily living activities: mobility support, dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding or meal routines as needed
- Helping with light housekeeping tasks and supporting clients to maintain a comfortable home environment
- Observing and reporting on changes in clients’ physical, mental and behavioural health; completing documentation of care activities

Qualifications We’re Looking For
To be considered, you should have:
- A genuine passion for providing care and support to others
- Excellent communication skills and a client-centred mindset
- Availability to work non-traditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends
- A valid driver’s license (G or G2 Classification), access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance
- To protect our patients, we require current vulnerable sector check screening, a clear background check
- Previous experience in home care or a PSW role is an asset (though we welcome motivated newcomers)
