Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Position Summary The FP&A Manager will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting. This individual will work closely with the CFO and business unit leaders to provide data-driven insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. This role also includes managing financial covenants and lender reporting obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for scenario planning, acquisitions, and capital projects.
- Track and analyze KPIs and financial performance versus budget/forecast.
- Analyze costs across departments and projects to ensure accuracy, identify variances, and provide actionable details and insights to business leaders.
- Prepare board and investor reporting packages with relevant financial insights.
- Support long-range planning and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor debt covenants and manage recurring lender reporting requirements.
- Work closely with Accounting and Operations to align actuals, forecasts, and operational drivers.
- Automate reporting processes and enhance the use of financial systems.
- Support business case development and capital expenditure analysis.
Qualifications
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience.
- Experience with infrastructure, technology, or data centre businesses a strong asset.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with financial planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, or Power BI).
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
