How You Will Contribute:
- Resolve PV lab-related issues raised by the PV user community to ensure seamless operations.
- Plan captives for Major and Minor product releases, optimizing resource allocation to meet project demands.
- Build and configure captive hardware systems for testing.
- Participate in product testing, analyze results, investigate, and resolve system issues effectively.
- Maintain and audit verification captive environments to minimize idle equipment and maximize efficiency.
- Provide guidance to PV staff on best practices to enhance user experience and productivity.
The Must Haves:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an R&D customer support organization.
- Hands-on knowledge of R&D lab environments.
- College Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Nice to Haves:
- A curious mindset, self-motivation, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Familiarity with optical transport technology and test equipment.
- Interest in exploring and mastering new technologies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to manage time, resources, and priorities effectively.
- Comfort in both collaborative team settings and independent work environments.
Pay Range:
The annual pay range for this position is $59, 100 - $94, 300
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.
Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
