In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, we are seeking an innovative and strategic technology leader with a proven track record in IT operations, modernization, standardization and automation. This is an in-office position, located in Ingersoll, ON.
Position Summary We are looking for a dynamic and pivotal member of our Leadership group to lead the organization’s technology strategy, aligning IT with business goals and growth objectives; managing infrastructure, cybersecurity (including IT/OT) and digital transformation to drive innovation, improve operations, and ensure robust, secure, scalable systems supporting complex projects and regulatory compliance.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Information Technology Leadership and Strategic Planning, establishing and achieving performance metrics to align with desired business outcomes
- Infrastructure & Systems Management, including Cloud Optimization: Oversee the direction, performance, operability, availability, management, and continuous
improvement of IT-supported technology solutions.
- Cyber Security, Risk Management, Compliance & IT Governance: Develop, implement and enforce IT policies, practices and governance frameworks. Champion a
culture of risk awareness and accountability.
- Digital Transformation: Continuously evaluating emerging technologies and trends, recommending and championing strategies to support innovation, operational
excellence, service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Talent Leadership and Support, providing direction, supervision, and mentorship to ensure excellence in performance, and professional growth

- Operational and Financial management: Oversee the preparation of IT Business Plan, annual budgets and 5-year proforma ensuring IT investment aligns with
business objectives

Cultivate strategic partnerships with vendors, technology partners, customers, and key internal and external stakeholders.

Identify and promote shared service opportunities by offering ERTH’s solutions and expertise to generate value and foster partnerships.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field. Additional, post-graduate education considered an asset
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management or director-level position.
- Understanding of relevant tools and platforms (Microsoft products, cloud environments, server technologies, modern cybersecurity tools) and strong business
acumen to drive organizational objectives.
- Experience leading compliance efforts through standards and certifications (ie. NIST Cyber Security Framework, SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Experience in the utilities sector is highly valued with expertise in managing IT/OT environments within the sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, Ability to write policies, reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate
information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, clients, customers, vendors
- Strong financial acumen for budgeting and maximizing technology ROI
- Strong leadership, coaching, project management, change management and conflict resolution skills
- Relevant professional certifications are considered an asset (ie. ITIL, PMP, CISSP)
