Key duties

  • Monitor, operate, service, and perform minor repairs on Powerhouse boiler room equipment and related systems.
  • Work with various equipment, including Centrifugal Chillers, HTHW Boilers, Steam Generators, Air Compressors, HVAC systems, and Appoge EMS controls (Trane, Viking, Siemens, ABB, etc.).
  • Complete additional facility-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must possess the following licenses: Stationary Plant Operator Class 2;
  • Highly motivated, with demonstrated teamwork abilities;
  • Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment;
  • Willingness to work on 12-hour shifts. Rotation day/night ;
  • Industry-related experience preferred;
  • Employment is subject to meeting Transport Canada security requirements and obtaining a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and an Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP). Please refer to Transport Canada site for more details;
