Job Overview: As a General Foreman at IREN, you will oversee and coordinate all site construction activities across civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient project execution. You will manage daily schedules, equipment, and materials, while leading field crews, supervising subcontractors, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
We have grown substantially since 2019, from our inception in Australia to now having several facilities across North America and being listed on NASDAQ… and we are just getting started! Job requirements

8–10 years in construction, with at least 3 years as a foreman/supervisor.

Experience in data centers, industrial facilities, or mission-critical infrastructure preferred.

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (power, backup generation, cooling).

Ability to read and implement drawings

Proven leadership in fast-paced construction environments.
-
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
-
Safety-first mindset with strong compliance focus.
-
Organized and skilled at problem-solving.
-
Collaborative approach across teams and disciplines.
-
Adaptable to changing project conditions and priorities.
-
Must be available to work the shift schedule: 2 weeks on, 1 week off.
Job responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate site construction activities (civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical).

Execute construction per IREN’s standards, project specifications, and drawings.
-
Manage daily schedules, equipment usage, and materials.
-
Lead and mentor field crews; foster a culture of safety and accountability.

Supervise subcontractors to meet quality and schedule requirements.
-
Coordinate with construction Super intendent
-
Champion IREN’s Safety culture and conduct toolbox talks and inspections.
-
Ensure compliance with codes, and regulations.
-
Inspect quality of work, especially power distribution, cooling, and network systems.
-
Support pre-functional testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems.
-
Maintain accurate daily logs on manpower, equipment, and progress.
-
Provide progress updates and contribute to weekly coordination meetings.
