Assignment:

• Full-time 1.0 probationary teaching position

• Instructing in a Division 2 (grades 4-6) classroom

• Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year

Qualifications and/or Assets:

• Experience teaching in an elementary classroom setting would be considered an asset

• Strong understanding and application of effective literacy and numeracy instructional strategies

• Skilled in differentiating instruction to meet diverse learner needs

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and guide Educational Assistants in supporting individual student programs

• Committed to working in a collaborative, team-focused learning environment

• Proficient in using assessment to inform instruction and support student growth

• Effective classroom management that promotes a safe, inclusive, and caring environment

• Confident in integrating technology to support Alberta’s cross-curricular competencies, such as critical thinking, communication, and collaboration

• Familiarity with PowerTeacher would be considered an asset

• Dedicated to continuous professional learning and growth
