Instructing in a Division 2 (grades 4-6) classroom

Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year
Qualifications and/or Assets:

Experience teaching in an elementary classroom setting would be considered an asset

Strong understanding and application of effective literacy and numeracy instructional strategies
-
Skilled in differentiating instruction to meet diverse learner needs
-
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and guide Educational Assistants in supporting individual student programs
-
Committed to working in a collaborative, team-focused learning environment
-
Proficient in using assessment to inform instruction and support student growth
-
Effective classroom management that promotes a safe, inclusive, and caring environment
-
Confident in integrating technology to support Alberta’s cross-curricular competencies, such as critical thinking, communication, and collaboration
-
Familiarity with PowerTeacher would be considered an asset
-
Dedicated to continuous professional learning and growth
