YOUR MISSION

  • Assist the production manager in their duties and replace them as needed;

  • Assist the production manager in the overall planning and monitoring of training and rehearsals;

  • Prepare weekly training and rehearsal schedules and ensure their distribution and daily monitoring;

  • Assist the production manager in the management and maintenance of rehearsal and training spaces, as well as equipment and resources (props, costumes, music, etc.);

  • Act as a liaison between designers, artists, and the technical team;

  • Act as a resource person and coordinator on-site (at the studio) for all production training and rehearsal activities, ensuring a constant presence during all these activities;

  • Ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of activities within the studios in collaboration with the studio operations department and the artist training department;

  • Organize and track rehearsal recordings;

  • Maintain up-to-date attendance, absence, and tardiness lists for artists. Compile and document artists' rehearsal hours;

  • Assist the production manager in updating the stage attendance and costume inventory;

  • Manage the artists' schedules for the various events they are assigned to at head office (fittings, makeup, tax matters, contracts, photo shoots, etc.) in collaboration with relevant contacts;

YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE

  • College diploma (DEC) in arts and entertainment, or equivalent experience in show production;

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in stage management or a similar role;

  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written);

  • Availability to work irregular hours.
