The Operational Process Analyst acts as a catalyst for change and optimization within the organization. Working closely with all offices, the incumbent ensures that BPA practices and standards are standardized, compliant, and applied consistently across all sites. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong influencing skills and an excellent collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities Process analysis and optimization
- Map out, document and analyze design and production processes across all disciplines and offices, as well as all processes supporting project progress.
- Optimize and standardize these processes to ensure overall consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders involved in project support and execution and support to fully understand the ecosystem and identify areas for improvement.
Practice development and optimization
- Participate in defining, implementing and maintaining standards and best practices for all offices.
- Collaborate with discipline managers and experts to innovate and optimize methods, with a focus on adding value.
Implementation and continuous improvement
- Deploy new processes and oversee their adoption by the various teams.
- Monitor results, assess impact and adjust practices on an ongoing basis.
- Act as an agent of change by supporting the organization as it improves and modernizes its practices.
Support and knowledge transfer
- Support and train engineers, technicians, support staff and project managers in the application of new processes
- Provide ongoing support for all issues related to the operational processes of projects.
Interdisciplinary collaboration and mobility
- Work closely with all technical and support departments.
- Travel regularly to different offices across Canada to ensure consistent and uniform implementation of practices.
Your profile
- University degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, structural or other building-related field).
- Relevant experience in building project design (drawings, specifications, coordination).
- A keen interest for innovating, optimizing and standardizing technical and organizational practices.
- Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail, with a strong ability to document and standardize processes.
- Initiative and autonomy: a self-driven person who takes charge of their mandates and actively proposes solutions.
- A focus on continuous improvement, with an interest in keeping abreast of tools and market developments to generate concrete gains.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: ability to explain complex ideas clearly, influence and support change.
- Available for frequent travel across Canada to collaborate with all BPA offices.
