About the position
The main workplace is located at the Masson power plant in the Mason-Angers sector. The other location is at the High-Falls facility in Val-des-Monts. The candidate may be asked to work at other Énergie La Lièvre facilities in the region, including the Masson facility in Gatineau.
The candidate will be part of a team of versatile workers responsible for the operation of several hydroelectric power plants in the Gatineau region. He or she will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical production and transmission equipment found in substations and power plants such as:

Turbine generator group, circuit breaker, transformer, disconnector, etc.

Auxiliary services, engines, pumps.

Automation, protection relays, communication system.

Security system (alarm, camera and others).
The candidate will perform work and maneuvers on low, medium, and high voltage equipment. He or she will also be required to troubleshoot or modify the programming of PLCs, SCADA, and other programmable devices found in automated systems. The candidate may also perform other functions related to operations and production management.
Profile sought
- Holder of a recognized college diploma (DEC) or professional studies diploma (DEP) in electromechanics, electrotechnics or the equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively without supervision and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial experience
- Holding a certificate in electricity outside of construction is an asset.
