Global Drain Technologies is a leading manufacturer of engineered drainage systems for the food and beverage industry, commercial & industrial facilities, and urban landscape projects.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated finance professional to cover a 12-month maternity leave. This role is responsible for managing the day to day accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivables, monthly and year-end processing and the maintenance of accurate records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Utilize ERP System to prepare and send invoices.

• Track and reconcile customer payments, resolve discrepancies, and manage collections.

• Process vendor invoices and payments, maintain strong vendor relationships.

• Manage vendor registration and reconcile statements, address any disputes.

• Manage and audit expense receipts, ensuring proper tax reporting.

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing and ensure accurate reporting.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field;

• A combination of education and experience may be considered;

• Demonstrated experience in financial management, accounting or similar;

• Proficiency utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP), Google/Microsoft Suite - Excel platforms;

• Experience handling accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations;

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced evolving, high-volume environment;

• Ability to work effectively independently and with others;

• Strong communication skills including verbal and written.
