We are seeking a Director of IT to lead day-to-day technology operations across the organization and support ongoing infrastructure modernization.
Role Description
Reporting to the CIO, the Director of IT will oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud systems, and enterprise applications across ZoomerMedia and its subsidiaries.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a technically strong operator who can ensure reliability across legacy broadcast systems while supporting modern digital platforms and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in IT Management, IT Strategy, and overseeing technology initiatives to align with organizational goals
- Extensive experience in IT Operations, including system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge and practical experience in Network Security, ensuring compliance with industry standards and protecting sensitive data
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor an IT team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of emerging technologies and their applications within digital media platforms
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in the digital media or content industry is an asset
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
- Strong background in infrastructure and cybersecurity
- Experience managing hybrid cloud environments
- Proven vendor and budget management experience
- Media, broadcast, or digital publishing experience preferred
- Clear communicator comfortable working with senior leadership
- Review, update and create policies and procedures that help streamline IT operations
- Attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple high priority projects in parallel
