As the Enterprise Architect , you will play a key role in shaping the future of our technology vision. Reporting to the CIO, you will work with the Information Systems leadership team to establish and maintain a technology architecture that supports the firm’s business objectives. You will oversee the technical design of our key projects, guiding our engineering team to ensure the solution is efficient and robust, and that it fits into our overall architecture.

Your role is fundamental to our firm’s success, ensuring that our technology investments are strategically aligned with our business goals. By defining the technology vision and overseeing the roadmap, you will ensure that our architecture is future-ready, scalable, and capable of supporting our innovation and growth.

You are a forward-thinking technology professional with a passion for innovation and a wealth of experience in designing successful solutions. You have worked with both business and technology teams to ensure solutions are designed to deliver the expected business benefits.

As an Enterprise Architect some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Vision and Strategy
  • Develop a vision for the firm’s technology architecture, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and objectives
  • Technology Roadmap
  • Create, maintain, and communicate the technology roadmap, ensuring it supports the firm’s business goals
  • Architecture Governance
  • Establish standards, guidelines, and best practices for technology architecture across the organization, promoting consistency and scalability
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with senior business leaders, IT teams, and other key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into solutions within the architecture.
  • Innovation and Emerging Technologies
  • Evaluate new technologies and trends, recommending solutions that drive innovation for the firm
  • Leveraging extensive technology experience and business background, guide the introduction of new technologies, that bring significant benefit to the firm
  • Risk Management
  • Identify and mitigate technology-related risks to ensure a robust, secure, and resilient architecture
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor, assess, and evolve the technology architecture to support changing business requirements and market conditions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience in enterprise architecture and technology strategy
  • Strong understanding of business processes, data governance, and how technology can enable business success
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong technical background in software development practices and architecture design
  • Proven experience leading large scale projects with firmwide impact, reporting to the executive client group
  • 7+ years experience with Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 Applications, Dataverse, DevOps practices and tools
  • 10 years experience of technical design ownership, including enterprise-level projects
  • 5+ years of system integration design experience, leveraging ETLs and event based services
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish strong working relationships

We benchmark regularly across a wide spectrum of roles, industries, sectors, and levels to ensure our ranges are both competitive and current. But we don’t stop there. We also consider the unique strengths, experiences, and impact each individual brings to the table. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors— your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $150,000–$195,000 in Toronto, ON. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
