What can you expect from this position?
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Experience, the Senior Advisor, Digital Experience plays a key role in the delivery, optimization, and ongoing management of Toronto Pearson's digital platforms and customer-facing digital experiences. As a trusted advisor and project lead, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver impactful digital initiatives that support organizational objectives and enhance the passenger experience. You will manage digital projects from concept through execution, oversee digital platform operations, support user experience and accessibility standards, and help ensure Toronto Pearson's digital channels remain innovative, effective, and aligned with evolving business needs.
As a Senior Advisor, Digital Experience, you will:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of digital projects across Toronto Pearson's digital ecosystem, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality.
- Manage content deployment, platform updates, and digital enhancements across websites, email platforms, intranet channels, and other digital properties.
- Serve as a key point of contact for business stakeholders, building trusted relationships and providing guidance on digital solutions that support business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Marketing, Communications, IT, and external agency partners to successfully execute digital campaigns and platform enhancements.
- Apply user experience (UX), accessibility, and digital best practices to ensure digital products are intuitive, inclusive, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Lead quality assurance and user acceptance testing activities to ensure seamless implementation of digital releases and enhancements.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and platform providers, ensuring service delivery, accountability, and alignment to project objectives.
- Support the evaluation, implementation, and governance of digital tools, platforms, and emerging technologies that improve digital performance and team efficiency.
- Monitor digital platform performance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and coordinate the resolution of technical, accessibility, or user experience issues.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of digital standards, processes, and governance practices that support a consistent and customer-focused digital experience.
This is the role for you, if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in digital operations, digital project delivery, digital marketing, or a related digital experience function.
- Demonstrated experience managing digital projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with enterprise content management systems (CMS), preferably Sitecore or a comparable platform.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and digital content publishing principles.
- Experience working with external agencies, vendors, and technology partners to deliver digital initiatives.
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX), web accessibility standards, and digital quality assurance practices.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders across various business functions.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- Post-secondary education in Digital Media, Digital Marketing, User Experience, Information Technology, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Experience in customer-focused, digital-first, transportation, aviation, retail, or other high-volume consumer-facing environments is considered an asset.
- Ability to obtain and retain a Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
