Position: Lead Product Manager – Regulated Cloud

Location: Richmond Hill, ON - Hybrid role: In-Office Tues - Thur (WFH Mon& Fri)

You will define product investment strategies for growth, and customer retention, systemically deliver product line capabilities leveraging cloud delivery processes, incorporate cloud technologies like AWS or Azure, and efficiently manage field communication, market feedback, and validation. You will be an evangelist for our products, product lines and portfolios, understanding customer motivations and fostering customer-centric product development solutions that will shape the future and impact lives on a global scale.

As a Regulated cloud Product Manager at OpenText, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of compliance and governance of Documentum cloud portfolio. This includes driving and overseeing compliance practices for Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), Life Sciences GxP, and GDPR across the products in the Documentum product portfolio. The primary focus of this role initially will be Documentum FedRAMP. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, compliance, legal, sales, pre-sales and marketing to ensure that our products and services meet the rigorous security standards set forth by the Federal government.

What the role offers:

  • Primarily focus on FedRAMP compliance and collaborate with peer Product Managers for Life Sciences and Information Archive compliance delivery in the cloud.
  • Lead the Documentum FedRAMP compliance initiative from initiation to authorization, including the development of a product backlog, roadmap, milestones and provide key updates to leadership as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Documentum engineering teams to integrate FedRAMP security requirements into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ensure that security considerations are addressed throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Work closely with Documentum engineering to translate FedRAMP security requirements into detailed product roadmap items, maintain the product backlog and assist engineering with sprint planning.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify, assess, and remediate gaps in compliance with FedRAMP requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Documentum FedRAMP-related activities, including communication collaboration with the FedRAMP PMO (Program Management Office), third-party assessors, and other government agencies.
  • Facilitate the preparation of documentation required for Documentum FedRAMP authorization, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and other relevant artifacts.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales and Marketing to define an overall launch strategy for the overall Documentum FedRAMP initiative.
  • Manage the implementation of security controls and best practices outlined in the FedRAMP security baseline, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and security reviews to identify potential vulnerabilities and mitigate security risks.
  • Stay abreast of changes to FedRAMP requirements, guidelines, and best practices, and ensure that our compliance efforts remain current and effective.
  • Provide guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders on FedRAMP-related matters, including security controls, compliance requirements, and audit preparation.
  • Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and other forums related to Documentum FedRAMP compliance, showcasing our commitment to security and regulatory compliance.

What you need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP) preferred.
  • Proven experience with FedRAMP compliance projects and Industry governance practices in a technology or cloud services environment.
  • Deep understanding of FedRAMP requirements, processes, and guidelines, with a track record of successful FedRAMP authorizations.
  • Strong product management skills, including the ability to develop product roadmaps, backlogs, manage stakeholders, and track progress against milestones.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security risks.
  • Experience working with cloud service providers (CSPs), third-party assessors (3PAOs), and government agencies involved in the FedRAMP authorization process.
  • Familiarity with relevant security frameworks and standards, such as NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, and FISMA, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearances.
