DevOps Consultant – AI Foundry, Senior Associate

As part of our Analytics and Insights Consumption team, you’ll analyze data to drive useful insights for clients to address core business issues or to drive strategic outcomes. You'll use visualization, statistical and analytics models, AI/ML techniques, Model ops and other techniques to develop these insights.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As a DevOps Consultant – AI Foundry, Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment processes for our GenAI projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in DevOps practices, with a focus on GenAI technologies, and possess a solid understanding of cloud computing, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the infrastructure and deployment requirements for GenAI projects.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions for GenAI applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Azure DevOps Pipeline (CICD) or similar tools.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and automated software delivery for GenAI projects.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability for GenAI applications.
- Implement and maintain security measures and best practices to protect GenAI systems and data.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and software developers to ensure smooth integration and deployment of GenAI models and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in GenAI technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance DevOps processes.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant technical/technology experience, with a focus on GenAI projects.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps Pipeline (CICD) or similar tools.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or similar.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with Azure AI Search, Azure Kubernetes, Azure OpenAI, Azure EventHub, Azure Document Intelligence, Azure Data Lake, Keda, DataDog, and Cosmos DB.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Databricks, Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud, GCP Cloud; Relevant certifications in DevOps or cloud computing.

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information
The salary range* for this position is $82,300.00 - 109,700.00 - 137,000.00$ CAD Annual, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.
- Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region. Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location.
