We’re a Canadian-owned company that values our people — the trades professionals and leaders who make our success possible. As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Plumbing Manager to lead our plumbing division in British Columbia .

About The Role The Plumbing Manager is a hands-on, operations-focused leadership role responsible for managing plumbing activities, supporting technicians and apprentices, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

This position supervises the plumbing team and provides operational support to the BC office, which includes administrative staff, junior managers, and field technicians.

This role is ideal for a Red Seal Journeyman Plumber with strong leadership experience, who excels at coordinating day-to-day operations, mentoring staff, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily plumbing operations for residential and commercial projects
  • Lead and mentor plumbers and apprentices
  • Coordinate schedules, dispatching, and material requirements
  • Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards
  • Support estimating, quoting, and basic project planning
  • Conduct field inspections and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance feedback
  • Maintain accurate work documentation using mobile and scheduling systems

Qualifications

  • Red Seal Certified Journeyman Plumber (required)
  • 5–10+ years of plumbing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and residential systems
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driving record (Required)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Proficient with mobile apps, work orders, and scheduling systems
  • Must have extensive working knowledge of grease interceptors
  • Backflow or Gas Fitter Certification considered assets
  • Physically capable of performing site inspections and hands-on work as needed
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada (no sponsorship available)
  • Clean criminal record (Required)

License/Certification

  • Journeyman or Red Seal License (Required)
  • Full Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record (Required)
