About the role
Position: Salesforce QA QE Lead Location: Toronto, ON- Remote/ Hybrid - Open Experience: 6+ years in software testing (2+ years in a lead role)
Job Summary: Cloudq is seeking a seasoned QE Lead to drive quality engineering for Salesforce applications. You will lead a team of QA engineers, define QA strategy, and ensure high-quality delivery of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
Lead and mentor QA engineers across multiple time zones.
Define and implement QA best practices, processes, and tools.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align QA with business goals.
Salesforce Testing:
Design and execute test strategies for Salesforce implementations.
Validate integrations, workflows, and data migrations.
Ensure compliance with Salesforce release cycles and updates.
Automation & Tools:
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber).
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
Apply BDD using Gherkin syntax.
Test Management:
Create and manage test plans, test cases, and defect tracking.
Monitor test coverage, performance, and quality metrics.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
6+ years in software testing, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
Strong Salesforce QA experience (functional and automation).
Proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, API testing.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git).
Knowledge of Docker and cloud environments.
Strong communication and project management skills.
