As the Clinical Application Specialist (CAS), you will provide expert technical and clinical knowledge within the Ultrasound portfolio, delivering high-quality education and training to clinical end-users. This role includes supporting pre-sale activities such as product demonstrations, in addition to providing ongoing post-sale support, involving on-site clinical in-servicing, training, and go-live assistance to ensure a smooth transition and optimal use of the product for customers. This position is critical in ensuring the success of both the product and customer satisfaction.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide technical and clinical leadership to customers by demonstrating the full range of Ultrasound product features and advanced technologies. This includes showcasing potential uses, product capabilities, and benefits to customers within the assigned territory, and beyond as needed.
- Develop and deliver product training on equipment use to customers in Cardiac Imaging including Stress Echo, TEE, Strain, 4D, and Interventional Ultrasound procedures, including Structural Heart.
- Monitor customer installations of ultrasound products to ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen ongoing customer relationships.
- Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and customer training.
- Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies.
- Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through continuing education on optimization of equipment utilization by customer.
- Provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs.
- Collaborate with team members and product resources to enhance and solidify expertise in product knowledge.
- Complete reports and administrative tasks, including documentation of customer training sessions, product demonstrations, and post-sale support activities.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer; current member of a Canadian ultrasound professional association (ie. Sonography Canada), or ARDMS.
- 4+ years of experience in a hospital environment, including interventional experience.
- Willingness to travel extensively, with overnight stays, according to business need.
- Working knowledge of electronic file management and Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to teach and train in an effective and organized manner.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, and ability to troubleshoot.
- Ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License and passport.
- This position requires national travel throughout Canada, with the candidate located proximally to a major international airport.
Desired Characteristics
- Clinical experience in Structural Heart procedures.
- Experience in Pediatric and Neonatal Echocardiography.
- Working knowledge of the LOGIQ and Voluson Ultrasound products.
- Familiarity with advanced ultrasound technologies.
- Experience in adult training, including presentation experience.
- Ability to build rapport, establish credibility and create a non-threatening environment for learning.
- Bilingual English/French.
