We have a co-op placement opportunity available for a R&D Verification Intern position working with the Ansys Discovery product range. The purpose of this position is to improve the software quality through model verification, validation, acceptance testing, and other research-oriented projects. You will work with the development and testing teams, who are highly skilled and motivated.
Job Responsibilities

Testing and validating new features of the software as they are being developed

Assisting in the production of test specifications

Creating automated tools and tests

Participating in acceptance testing
Minimum Qualifications
-
Pursuing a BS in Mechanical engineering or related technical degree.

Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after the completion of the intern program.

Exposure to FEA and CFD.

Experience using Python.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Knowledge/experience using CAD software.

Exposure to programming using C++, C#.

Experience with Ansys products.

Sharp and tenacious problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills.
