**Title:**Produce Packer
**Reports to:**Production Supervisor and Manager at Mucci Pac Ltd.
**Based at:**Kingsville, ON

**Type of Employment:**Full time, permanent, 6-days a week, steady day shift, (7am - 2:45pm Monday to Saturday). Must be willing and able to work extended hours to meet business needs. This may include Sundays and Holidays.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Grade, sort and package produce (cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables) per customer specifications
- Assemble, line and pad cartons and containers per customer specifications
- Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met
- Place products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, as required
- Load and remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas.
- Seel containers or bags for packing of vegetables
- Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools
- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours to support business needs
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to understand and follow information and instruction presented through verbal and written communication from the Line Leader, Back-up Supervisor, Supervisor or Manager
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Attention to detail is required
- Ability to work in various positions as required
- Communicate any Food, Health or Safety issues or concerns to the Line Leader, Back-up Supervisor, Supervisor or Manager
Physical Abilities:
- Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
- Must be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbs
- Must be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time
- Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 ˚C / 55 ˚F.
Compensation:$17.60/hr.
