Next Step is seeking teachers who are currently teaching or have taught diploma-level courses to lead the review diploma sessions. Experience doing diploma review sessions, marking diplomas or working on committees is an asset.

May 30-31: English Language Arts 30-1, Social Studies 30-1, Math 30-1 & Math 30-2

June 6-7: English Language Arts 30-1, Social Studies 30-1, Math 30-1 & Math 30-2 (repeat sessions)

Teachers must have experience teaching and be currently teaching the subject they are applying for. Pay is as per the collective agreement at $63 per hour. Paid Hourly for 28 total hours: 14 hours for Instruction/supervision, 13 hours prepping materials and 1 hour pre-meeting. Courses run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a half-hour break for lunch. Courses will be offered at Salisbury Composite High School (20 Festival Way) in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
