Position #: 9001710 Expected Start Date: May 30, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Royal University Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Surgical 5000 Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: shifts of hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Physician Assistant Degree $51.102 to $62.5 Travel Required: Yes Human Resources Exemption: NoJob Description: Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalists who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a Physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions, and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS. Experience- Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field, is an assetEducation- Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCCLicenses- Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a PA; or- (May be asked to provide proof of meeting maintenance of certification)- Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA.- Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan).- Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCCMemberships- Canadian Association of Physician AssistantsCompetencies- Advanced - Communication skills- Intermediate - Computer skills- Advanced - Interpersonal skills- Intermediate - Mobilizes people, inspires and leads by example- Advanced - Analytical skills- Advanced - Technical skillsKnowledge and Abilities- Committed to delivering on patient and family centred care- Ability to work independently- Ability to work as a member of a mul...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
