Job Description Job Title: HR Business Partner
12 month renewable contract
Onsite position - 5 days/week
Location: Enfield, NS

Job Responsibilities
- Advising, supporting and coaching managers and employees in the interpretation and application of the collective agreement & HR-related policies and processes
- Planning, deploying and taking part in key human resource management activities, such as performance management, succession planning and leadership development to align with strategic objectives for the business
- Acting as a facilitator in communications, in the resolution of issues between management and employees, and in the strategic alignment of your business units by encouraging commitment and accountability
- Implementing and executing human resource management strategies that will help your internal customers to achieve their business objectives and carry out the global mission of the enterprise
- Coaching Managers through challenging performance management situations and support managers in developing and communicating plans to address areas of improvement
Education and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Administration, Human Resources or Industrial Relations
- Strong experience partnering with operations levelled client group and manufacturing employees
- Minimum of 10-15 years in a manufacturing environment with experience dealing with manufacturing employees of all levels
- Strong customer facing experience and ability to adjust communication styles between employees, supervisors/managers and senior facility leadership
- Proven investigatory experience and ability to make sound judgements and conclusions based on facts.
Skills And Knowledge
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to balance day-to-day deliverables, key HR calendar deliverables and special projects
- Ability to influence managers at all levels of the organization
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English
