Primary Purpose of Position:

We are seeking multiple Truck Drivers to join our team and support a major decommissioning project based in Northwest Territories. This is a two-year contract position and a great opportunity to be part of a significant, long-term initiative that offers both career growth and job stability in a unique northern environment.

This position will be based on-site on a two-weeks-on, two-weeks off rotation schedule, with accommodations, travel, and meals fully covered. We are currently seeking experienced Truck Drivers to support an active site project. This posting is intended to fill three distinct driving roles: Rock Truck Drivers, Water Truck Drivers, and Fuel Truck Drivers. Successful candidates will be assigned based on experience, certifications, and operational requirements.

Job Duties

  • Operate rock, water, or fuel trucks safely and efficiently within an active mine site during decommissioning activities.
  • Transport materials, water, or fuel throughout the site in support of demolition, earthworks, and remediation operations.
  • Follow designated haul routes, traffic controls, and site-specific procedures at all times.
  • Conduct pre- and post-operational inspections and complete daily equipment logs.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and ground crews to coordinate site movements.
  • Maintain awareness of changing site conditions associated with decommissioning activities.
  • Comply with all health, safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
  • Immediately report mechanical issues, hazards, or unsafe conditions.

Position Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Possess driver's license with a clean drivers abstract.
Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
Experience with routine maintenance operations.
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
Able to work well under pressure.
Strong attention to detail.
